With the concept of linear time, fate had quietly never been quite applied, because of the nature of humanity. Humans intermingled, lost lives, fell in love, tripped over surfaces, all at random. Now with the ghost apparatuses of individual stories playing out, there was no interactive basis to expand the directional or the multipliers. Translating to there only being individual strands, no longer tethered to complexities of desire, negation and trust. Causality was all that remained.
